How it works

  1. Sunday morning you get this week's code word by text and email.
  2. Write the code word on a piece of paper.
  3. Every fish photo shows the fish on a measuring board with that paper in the shot.
  4. DM the photo to @wildquestoutfitters before Saturday 6:00 PM and say if it was shore or boat.

One entry into the Wild Quest Fishing Tournament — SC Lowcountry, Sun Nov 1 through Sat Nov 7, 2026.

  • South Carolina Lowcountry saltwater only (Charleston, Colleton, Beaufort and Jasper county waters), from shore or boat. Pond and freshwater fish don't count.
  • Divisions: redfish, speckled trout and sheepshead. Longest single fish in each division wins.
  • One shared pot: 1st in each division gets 20% of it plus a Wild Quest shirt and hat. 2nd gets a shirt, 3rd gets a hat.
  • Best Shore Catch: the longest fish of any division caught from shore, pier, dock or wading wins a Wild Quest hat.
  • Sunday morning you'll get the week's code word by text. Every fish photo must show the fish on a measuring board with the code word in the shot.
  • DM photos to @wildquestoutfitters by Saturday at 6:00 PM and say whether it was caught from shore or boat. Winners are announced live Saturday night.
  • You need a valid SC saltwater fishing license and must follow all state size and bag limits.
